Serve, don’t sell: Delivering value to generate new leads
with first data report
I spearheaded the creation of Buildertrend’s 2021 Data Report, the company's first-ever gated piece. This initiative laid the foundation for what is now a robust library of lead-generating guides and resources. I developed the topic theme, guided the research process, crafted the creative direction, and built the promotion strategy from the ground up.
Collaborating closely with our in-house Data Science team, we identified a topic of high relevance to our customers and strategically leveraged proprietary data to tell a compelling story. I also developed a comprehensive promotional plan that included paid social, press releases, email marketing, and an organic social campaign.
The Data Report has not only driven significant organic web traffic but has also become a critical lead-capturing tool for our business.
